Early Voting will begin September 21, 2023 for the October 10, 2023 Municipal Elections.  Voters who live inside the City of Statesville and are in Wards 1, 4, & 6 as well as voters who live inside the Town of Mooresville will be eligible to vote.  Mooresville is having a Primary Election for the Commissioner At-Large seat.

Beginning with the 2023 Municipal Elections, North Carolina voters will be asked to show photo ID when they check in to vote.  Any registered voter can get a free photo ID from their county board of elections office.  

All voters will be allowed to vote with or without a photo ID.  If any voter is unable to show a photo ID when voting, they may vote a provisional ballot.
