Safety First
Our goal is to remain safe and accident free at our Solid Waste Facilities. As a reminder, all haulers delivering waste to our facilities are required to wear highly visible clothing. Vests may be checked out at the scale house if necessary. It is equally important that drivers follow instructions of the Solid Waste staff, including directives on where to dispose of waste. This is critical in the landfill, where the working face is often small and can become congested. Please help us keep everyone safe!
Secure Loads
All materials delivered to any Iredell County Solid Waste Facility must be properly loaded and secured. Materials not covered is a violation of section 12-9 of the solid waste ordinance and is subject to a $50 civil penalty per offense.
