Tate Osborne, Director

Tate Osborne

Tate Osborne was born & raised in Locust, NC. He is a graduate of UNC Charlotte, where he was a member of their baseball team. Tate joins us from the city of Charlotte where he spent nearly 5 years working. He is formerly the Parks & Recreation director for the city of Locust, NC. He is a father of two, with one boy & one girl respectively. In his free time, Tate likes to spend time supporting his children in their athletic & educational endeavors, as well as going fishing whenever he has the chance. Tate loves working for ICPRD because he gets the chance to play a part in the enrichment of life for everyone in Iredell County. 

Ryan Brill, Assistant Director

Ryan Brill

Ryan Brill was born & raised in Jacksonville, NC. He is a graduate of UNC Wilmington with a degree in Recreation, Sport Leadership, & Tourism Management. Ryan has been working in the parks & recreation field since 2014 with stops in the  Wilmington, NC & Mecklenburg County Recreation departments, respectively. He is married & a father of one daughter. In his free time, Ryan can be found in the outdoors spending time with his family, fishing, or taking on new adventures. Ryan loves working for ICPRD because he gets to be apart of the current growth in the Iredell County community as well as provide the residents of our county with exceptional programming along the way.  

Stacy McGlamery, Administrative Assistant

Stacy McGlamery

Born in Newport News, Virginia, Stacy McGlamery attended Ferrum College and earned her degree in Political Science. Stacy has enjoyed living and raising her two children in Troutman for the past 20 years. Over the years, she taught exercise classes at the old Barium Springs YMCA (now the Iredell County Recreation Center). Stacy got her start in parks and recreation working part time for the Town of Troutman assisting with special events and the farmer’s market. In the summer you can find Stacy spending her weekends hiking, kayaking, or gardening. Stacy loves to work for ICPRD because she gets to give back to the community she calls home.

James Huffman, Recreation Center Manager

James Huffman

James Huffman hails from Columbia, SC and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. A huge Gamecocks fan, he is found cheering on USC sports all year long. He earned his degree in Exercise Science and has almost 20 years of experience in the recreation and fitness field. James is always open to trying new things; from learning about wild edible plants to traveling to new locations with his family. James says he loves to work for ICPRD because it allows him to get to know his Iredell County neighbors and helps to improve the quality of their life.

Austin Setzer, Sports Events and Facilities Manager

Austin Setzer

Austin Setzer was born and raised in Newton, NC. He graduated from Catawba College with a degree in Sport Management. He brings a background deep in the world of sport and recreation in our area having served in various roles with the Hickory Crawdads, the YMCA of Catawba Valley, & the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In his free time, you can probably find him in the outdoors hunting or fishing or at home watching sports. He is a diehard fan of the Carolina Panthers, for better or worse. Austin is taking on a new challenge with ICPRD and looks to bring the joy of the parks to the people of Iredell County!  He loves to work for ICPRD because he gets to serve the community and make sure they get the most out of our parks and facilities.

Micah Deane,  Parks Grounds Manager                              

Micah Deane

Micah Deane was born and raised in Statesville, NC. He is a graduate of West Iredell High School. He is a husband and father of 3, with 1 girl and 2 boys. Outside of work, you can find Micah working on cars, building reef fish tanks, and spending time with his kids. He loves working for ICPRD because he gets to be outdoors and make sure the parks are kept in the best fashion possible for the people of Iredell County!

Marty Haneline, Facility Maintenance Specialist

Marty Hanline

Marty Haneline was born in Okinawa, Japan, but has lived in Iredell County since the age of 11. He is a graduate of North Iredell High School and Mitchell Community College. He is a husband and father of 3, with 1 girl and 2 boys, and is now a grandfather. In his free time, Marty loves the game of soccer. He has always been a coach or referee for soccer in the community since he was in high school. He loves working with ICPRD because he gets to be outdoors and make the facilities and our fields look the best for the kids of our community on gameday!

Brittany McNeill, Recreation Program Specialist - Youth & Outdoors

Brittany McNeill

Brittany McNeill was born & raised in Asheboro, NC. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a double major in Psychology & Recreation Management. She is currently attending North Carolina State to receive her masters in Recreation Management. She joins us from Orange County Parks & Recreation where she spent 3 years. In her free time, Brittany enjoys hiking, spending time out on the water, & hanging out with her dog. Brittany loves working for ICPRD because she gets to connect community members with nature & provide the youth of Iredell County with engaging programming!

Stacey Ulaszek, Recreation Program Specialist - Adult Programs


Stacey Ulaszek

Stacey Ulaszek was born in Dayton, Ohio, but moved to North Carolina in 1998. She is a graduate of Central Piedmont Community College. She is a wife & mother to one daughter, who she adores. She joins us with 15 years of Parks & Recreation experience in various roles with Mecklenburg County.  In her free time, she loves to do arts & crafts, be outdoors enjoying nature, & spending time with her family. She loves to work for ICPRD because she gets to give back to the community in which she lives!

Ronda Benfield, Recreation Center Assistant

Ronda Benfield

Ronda Benfield was born in Lumberton, NC but has lived in Statesville for the majority of her life. She has dedicated her life to helping others achieve a healthy lifestyle and is certified in both personal training and group exercise. Ronda worked as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor for twenty years while raising her three children in Statesville. One of her favorite hobbies that often surprises others is her love of motorcycles! Ronda and her husband love to go for joy rides on warm, sunny days. Getting to meet all the wonderful people that live and visit our area and community and being a part of offering them ways to stay active and healthy is Ronda’s favorite part of working for ICPRD.

Devon Sawyer, Day Porter

Devon Sawyer

Devon Sawyer was born and raised in Statesville, NC. He attended Statesville High and graduated from Mitchell Community College. He is a father of three with two girls and a boy, who he loves spending his time with. Outside of work, he loves to do photography & videography. He has been behind the camera of several short films and music videos. He loves working for ICPRD because of the environment he works in and the super friendly people he gets to interact with each and every day!

Scotty Harris, Parks Grounds Lead

Scotty Harris

Scotty Harris was born and raised in Statesville, NC. He is a graduate of Statesville High School and Western Piedmont Community College. He is the father of 2 kids and is now a grandfather! Outside of work, Scotty can be found outdoors hunting or fishing with his family. He loves working for ICPRD because it keeps him outdoors and he gets to be involved in the upkeep and beautification of the parks for his community! 

Jordan Lail, Parks Grounds Specialist

Jordan Lail

Jordan Lail was born in Taylorsville, NC but resides in Stony Point, NC. He is a graduate of Alexander Central and Wilkes Community College. He is a husband and father of 2 boys, Paxton and Lincoln. In his free time, Jordan loves to be in the woods hunting, being on the water fishing, and spending time with his family. He loves working for ICPRD because he gets to be outdoors and keep the parks up to the highest standard!

Ben Liles

Ben Liles was born and raised in Statesville, NC. He is a graduate of North Iredell High School. He is a husband and father of a boy, Luke. Outside of work, you can find Ben working on his cars, outside on the grill, or in the woods riding his side by sides. He loves working for ICPRD because he gets to work with a great group of people, be outdoors, and make sure the parks are kept to the highest standard!

Steven Beavers

Steven Beavers was born and raised in Statesville, NC. He is a graduate of South Iredell High School. He is a husband and a father of a boy. Outside of work, you can find Steven in the woods hunting, out fishing, or anywhere else outdoors you can imagine. He loves working for ICPRD because he gets to be outdoors and keep the parks looking the way they should for the people of Iredell County!
